Don't tell me -- Jesus was #1...... SSSSSlap me.
I bet he held that slot the millenium before that too.
I didn't see that show, but I did see one about top inventions.. and the printing press, movable type (Gutenberg) was the most influential invention of the millenium. Previous to that people were in the dark regarding printed propaganda. Typically enough, they rolled off a bunch of bibles so every hearth and hotel room would have one.

I can't exactly agree with the list.. or even the order of it.. but #94, Patient 0 is an interesting choice. I think Oppenheimer, Bohrs, Fermi and Salk should rank atleast ahead of Princess Diana, Elizabeth 1, Bill Gates, Dante, Bacon, Voltaire, Mao, Churchill, Austen, & 3rd slot, Martin Luther.

Yeah, I can't argue with #1 and #2. They both changed the world and how we know about the world. Steven Spielberg though??? It's not as if he created film.. I think that was Eastman.. and I don't see him on the list.
hmmmm.

I did a search on the biography channel's official site.
These lists are always going to be flawed, really.

Yeah.. and who are these people exactly..?
I am starting to obsess over this list...., which is all bad news for me. I've already printed out a copy and now am on to the analytical research and a follow-up critical refute which I will be posting in the very near future; (within this millenium.. and probably before next year.)

And yes! Ian! There are so many inconsistencies! How were the beatles more 'impacting' than the fucking priemer of the USSR during WWII!?!?!
