For societies to ignore other societies is a recipe for racism and xenophobia.
Obviously we should encourage the sharing of technology and culture between societies and communities.
The Internet, radio and TV and other forms of mass media communication make this possible. Currently however, the TV and radio is mostly in the control of the capitalists and/or statists. We need a revolution baby...

We need to encourage the US to return to it's pre WW2 issolationist policy. That's why I say let the mine Alaska then they'll have all the oil they need and they might fuck off and leave the rest of the world alone!

Well it totally goes against internationalism (obviously) and that is one of our core goals. Of course it is better than neo-conservatism (isn't anything?) so I can see why people are confused into thinking it had its merits. All in all though, it is not a position which is profitable toe ntertain

For a society to maintain an isolationist policy is not only unviable and nearly impossible in the current globalized and developing world but also quite reactionary. It's currently possible for nations to maintain a more isolationist foreign policy excluding trade but it's doubtful that this could continue as technology, communication, and other forms of exchange progress. After all, closed systems always tend to stagnate and thus prevent political and social progression.
