Chavez is not preparing for a communist society and for me is just another bourgeois leader.

Pretty much sums up my opinion right there.

im not convinced by him...but he beats a bourguois bush loving conservative

yes he is a bourgeois leader but he might open up good opportunities (if the people sieze them), and he's had a good impact on the lives of the average venezuelans.

I'm not a fan. He thinks that nationalizing certain industries and being against America make him a good socialist leader and on the way to communism, but he hasn't made a good case to the world that he is doing a good job an implementing true socialism.

one president's main aim should be to improve the living standarts his citizen's and Hugo Chavez is doing this very well so it doesnt matter whether he is a socialist or nor. At least he has been trying to prepare the circumstances needed for a revolution. So revolution will not be as difficult as that of Fidel's...

Yes it does because Hitler dramatically improved the lives of his citizens. That can't be the only criteria by which you measure a statesman.
And Hugo has been cracking down on the Libertarian Workers Movements.
