I read a book a while ago by Ian Bone a prodominant member of the class war group.I found him to be a twat, he had nothing constructive to offer the left and just disrupted meatings and the likes. Their antics seriousley harmed the reputation of the left and their critisism of groups like the CND and offering no other alternative, the way they were in competition with the SWP and other Trotskyites was childish. It seemed all thye wanted to do was fight cops and smash Oxfam windows (during riots).

What are your opinions of them

Very funny online and when they're giving a speech of some kind.

In the flesh, pretty fucking scary. They have an air of fundamentalism about them, and lots of them haven't a clue what they're saying, and just want to discuss the celebration plans for when Thatcher dies.

A fair bunch have some good ideas, and from what I've seen of them, they are nearly all working class.

But yeah, there's a bit of hooliganism in there.

Oh come on. They are not scary at all. I think they come across as lovable teddybears.
It is a shame about their politics though.

I work at an anarchist book shop, and they come in every month and drop T-shirts and Zines, and stuff in.
It's all pretty fucked. The zines especially. They're all ultra-pro-crime and violence. And they glorify it so much. It just gets to the point of idiocy.
And their T-shirts are so brutal. But most are pretty hilarious.
They've got ones of John Howard (The Australian PM) with an Axe going through his head with a quote at the bottom that reads "Best of the cuts"
haha. I laughed so hard.
