Communal event

I'm thinking of running some sort of local event in my town that will introduce the ideas of Communism to people in a simple, fun, and non-threatening way.

One idea is a barbecue, where people would bring something to cook, like a packet of burgers or some bottles of drinks or whatever. Then everyone could select what they'd like to eat from the selection that's there. I know lots of bands so entertainment for the day wouldn't be a problem

Another idea was like a series of talks and stuff, but I'd like to get people to be able to interact and stuff.

Any other ideas?

but I think there would be probs ith the food 'n stuff..
maybe you can make an order list, that will close 7 days before the event so you can shop and they would pay what they ordered, dnno.
