if there was a war, and a super power was up against a regular, not poor not rich country.
your watching these two coutries go at it, and your own country might get involved.
what do you think would be smarter, to side with the super power and support them in words (no accual fighting).
side with the other country and help them defeat the super power (at the risk of losing your own territories)
or not get involved at all.
what is the smarter thing to do?

It highly depends on the circumstances. But if it would USA vs Iraq, I'll stay neutral.

US vs. 1 coountry= Nuetral
US vs. Multiple Countries= Anti US
Revolution vs. US= Revolution...though we will all be horribly crushed

It really does depend on the situation. But as James Connolly said during World War 1, if the government is going to fight a war of imperialism, then we should fight the government.

What exactly do you mean by "a regular, not poor not rich country."
To my knowlege there is no such thing.
Probalbly I'd side with what lardlad95 said.
It really depends though, I guess.
I might not side with any anti-US revolution, like some Muslim fundumentalist group.

what i meant was that it was not rich, so it couldnt buy A LOT of weapons, yet it wasnt poor so it could atleast buy some.
in other words what i mean by poor and rich is
rich: has money to buy a lot of weapons
poor: cant buy any weapons
so the country is in between rich and poor.
i doint know if there is such a country, but i did say "IF" didnt i?

Why the hell is everyone against the USA k, i'm not saying that I ain't but aren't they the ones against Iraq - the crazy ones

picklenickle why is Iraq the crazy ones? so what if they have weapons of mass destruction, so do the US and UK, so what if they have a crazy dictator, so the US and UK. so if that makes Iraq crazy it makes most of the world crazy as most countries have weapons of mass destruction.
anyway getting back to the point of this thread it would depend on circumstance, if the small country was fascist and poor then i would side with the super power and then after this turn my attention to destroying the super power

picklenickle, a dictator is someone who rules a country in a totalitarian(think this is how you spell it) way for example without listening to his/her government, exmples include, Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin and the modern day ones Bush(Hitler), Blair(Mussolini) and Hussein

bigger weapons, that would be america with the weapons of mass destruction. it hasnt even been proven that iraq has any and even if they dont bush will look for another reason to start a war. america would be the ones who are going to destroy us all, the pose much more of a threat than iraq.

rite so.. that's just way over my head now!! but anyways, back to what i understand, sure iraqs the ones that started it wot they did was evil and you sound like you're on their sidewere u from neway?

I'm not on iraq's side i consider myself neutral. "They" are the one's that started it, started "what" exactly? If you're talking about the potential war it is america whom started this fiasco, they are looking for a reason to invade iraq so that they can achieve cheaper oil prices. If you are talking "they" im sure you should mean Saddam Heussein. It really isn't a question of "they" it is a question of "Bush" and "Saddam".

picklenickle, I am from Scotland, no i am not on Iraq's side yes Saddam has done a lot of evil things but so has Bush, was his state not the state with the highest execution rate if I am not mistaken. I am not pro Iraq just anti-war which in many eyes would see me as being pro-iraq and anti-america(which to be honest i am anti-america that is)
Iraq started what exactly? If you are talking about the attacks on the WTC well hell Osama Bin Laden is not from Iraq and neither where the suicide bombers most of them where from Saudi Arabia, no link to Iraq there, so why is BUsh so adamant to bomb Iraq or NUKE THEM as he has said? oh its not a war of terror its a war for Oil.

I agree Suicideis Painless about the war in Iraq, it's a war for ol. But back to the first question, I think i would only support the country as long as it is against: Capitalism, Imperialism and Fascism.
But if it is a small country with a dictatorship, where the people not have war with the other country but only the dictator I wouldn't support it. But I wouldn't support the big country anyway.
