I was thinking about have a look into anarchism in depth, as I have never ead any anachist text or done much research on it. What would be good anarchist works to start with?
I have letters to a Frenchman by Bakunin lying at home, an anarchist-communist i spoke this week suggested that would be a good start

You might try "Anarchism and Anarchosyndicalism" by Rudolph Rocker.
Rather than vague theoretical works like "What is anarchist communism?" (by Alexander Berkman) or "The Conquest of Bread" (by Kropotkin), I think it's better to examine a revolutionary Left libertarian perspective by looking at practice, at actual movements, or at writings that critically analyze something, like, say, Maurice Brinton's "Bolsheviks and Workers Control", which is in the anthology "For Workers Power" recently published by AK Press. Another similar type of book would be "Durruti in the Spanish Revolution," recently published by AK Press.
Another very useful book is "Facing the Enemy", by Alexandre Skirda, which bills itself as a history of organization. This book is useful because of the documents at the back, including the "Organizational Platform of the Libertarian Communists" and some of the articles by people like Malatesta debating this proposal.

well....I find An Anarchist Faq (http://www.geocities.com/CapitolHill/1931) to be a comprehensive "basic yet big" text.
It was this text that introduce me to anarchism, before I thought anarchism as solely primitvism.
Other recommendations which might (or might not be) helpful would be "Anarchism" by Daniel Guerin (in france it might be known as L'anarchisme: De la doctrine a l'action.) and "Anarchosyndicalism" by Rudolf Rocker (maybe its the same as the one recommended first by syndicat...). However...I feel these 2 books concentrate much more on anarcho-syndicalism than libertarian or anarchist communism.

Yes, the Anarchist FAQ is very solid, very comprehensive, and explains
different currents of thought. I believe it is going to be published as a
book by AK Press.
