The third revolution to Marx, was the Dictatorship of the Proletariat. This reminds me exactly of an absolutist form of government. It's like going backwards, not forwards. The Bourgeouis revolution is the second, which is a bit better than a monarchy. If you look at Kruskev and many other leaders, you'll see how correct this statement is. What do we do to improve this third revolution... do we have to go from 2nd to 4th??? Help me out guys...

The 3rd revolution is a transition age between capitalism and socialism, which is needed to restore order so that it can evolve as the 4th revolution.

Marx wasn't a prophet, so don't stress if some of the things he says seem completely illogical.

The dictorship of the proleteriat is the opposite to the dictatorship of the bourgeoisie, which we now live under. What we have now is a dictatorship of the minority over the majority- the proleteriat.
With the dictatorship of the proleteriat we have majority rule while the minority are still angry at their wealth being shared among the people. They're deposed first then strike back stronger than they struck before- as they thought they could not be deposed by us.
So the Dictatorship of the proleteriat is necessary to avoid the revolution being undermined.
It's during the early phases that the capitalist class will strike back and try to retake power. So a dictatorship of the proleteriat shouldn't be a prolonged stage, but merely a transistional stage before socialism.
