Kodan Armada, Textbook Traitors, Since By Man, Hewhocorrupts, 10k Tongues, Doom Buggy, Seven Days of Samsara, Welcome the Plague Year, Genghis Tron, Kungfu Rick, Fork Knife Spoon, Get Rad, Call Me Lightning, Paige Marshall and many more.

I've seen Ted Leo & the Pharmacists three times in the last year and a half. Their shows are totally awesome if you get up close since you can chat with the band between songs and are basically on stage with these top notch musicians.

Take tickets and usher kind of. Sometimes I'll do chair set-up if I think I might see something cool. Ushering is easy I just stand there and point people in the general direction of their seats. But most importantly I get to stand there and get paid to watch the show =) Too bad I have to qit this gig in september.

i did :)
They were pretty fucking good. The only real downside was that they just more or less played the songs back to back, as if they wanted to get the fuck out of there (which would've been bullshit cuz the athmosphere was great).
Anyway, at the end of the show (like last three songs), when everyone was sweaty and half covered under mud (outdoors festivals in the middle of the summer ), it started to rain like crazy, as in you could almost fuckin swim your way to the stage. Needless to say, moshing continued, and afterwards we had to walk like a mile with drenched clothes back to our tent (3-day outdoor festivals ftw) to get new clothes, i was fucking freezing
*got carried away*

Good choice, comrade. Let me know how it goes. It was years ago I saw them, like 03, 04. But it was still the best concert I've ever been to. Let me know if they still got it.

Dillenger Escape Plan, Anal ****, Nine Inch Nails.
in that order.
Thats speaking in terms of bigger bands.
I've seen local bands that could blow those guys away.
Some of my favorite shows I've seen have been in a small bar the size of some peoples bathrooms with 30 people and the windows shaking all over. You can feel the energy at bigger bands. But when it's a small show in a closed in area with a band giving 100% of there person you know it's real. It's something you feel. For instance, I saw a band called Generations of Vipers in Knoxville TN at a small place and the energy was amazing. It was like seeing Sunn O))) ten times amped

It was like seeing Sunn O))) ten times amped
*cringes*
I just saw Sunn O))) and Boris at a fairly small venue, and I didn't know whether I was having a good time, or if I felt ill.
Boris were amazing first-up- loads of energy. Their drummer is amazing. Most metal person ever. He decided to crowd-surf, and in getting out from beind his drums (by jumping over them) fell over spectacularly, then leapt into the crowd, got dropped. And he was still happy at the end.
Sunn O))) started out slowly, but once they were joined onstage by Boris and random guests they really got going, and every time they changed chords, a different body part started to resonate. It was really intense.

Amazing isnt it? I love drone bands and those types of shows.
I like going to them in yellow beach looking shirts that retired old men wear and bright orange shorts.

Garbage, in -98 or -99.. The tour following the Version 2.0 album anyway.
Judas Priest, 2005.
Both of them I saw at the Globe Arena in Stockholm, Garbage played in the annex but Priest in the Globe itself. They're fucking awesome now that they're reunited again -- Halford is the Metal God, after all.

I saw Roger Waters last week. He was fucking amazing! First half he did predominately Pink Floyd stuff with a few of his own thrown in, and the second half he did Dark Side Of The Moon! Then for his encore he did Another Brick In The Wall and Comfortably Numb (he had to really, didnt he). He also unveiled a new song that's really scathing about Bush and Blair and the Iraq War. The only lyric I can remember is "Oh George! Oh George! That Texas education must have fucked you up when you were very small."
Genius.

<3 I saw Capdown a couple of months ago in London, for a start it was odd not seeing them in Brighton, plus they seem to have got a hell of a load more political but I don't know how much it rings true, they always used to just play the songs, and play them well. Still, I do love them.
Other than that, The King Blues amaze me live, especially the first time I saw them when they played an acoustic gig, King Prawn, Mike Park, Neville Staples and The Selecter are all highlights of my long gig-going career as well.

Am a massive Primal Scream fan, but the three times I've seen them they've been pretty disappointing.
Besties:
Super Furry Animals
Flaming Lips (don't know anything by them, but they were immense live)
And, as much as I hate to say it, Coldplay were incredible at Glastonbury in 2005. It was either them or the drugs...
EDIT- oh my god, I completely forgot about how amazing Parliament/FUnkadelic were. I'm still buzzing a year later...

My top three, I never can pick my number one.
Rage Against the Machine.
Iggy & The Stooges.
311.
Rage is so fucking phenomenal; Zach was grappling with his own security to get out to the crowd.
The Stooges was a dream come fucking true. Iggy has been my idol since I was really young; during "No Fun" fans stormed the stage and about forty people were dancing onstage with the band, orginal lineup, except for Mike Watt. I waiting five hours to be front row for that, and I fucking touched Iggy; who is also the most bombastic human being I have ever seen.
311 puts on a great show; they're just so fucking positive that you honestly cannot have a bad time there. For a cynic like me to admit to feeling the love from the crowd and the band, that's something.
Honorable mentions:
The Horrorpops, Patricia is really down to earth and the show is alot of fun.
Reverend Horton Heat: They're really personable, the music is swingin' and the shows long, and sing-along worthy.
Miss Mindfuck.
