View Full Version : The Spanish Civil War
Has anyone read this? I liberated it from my school's library today because I love learning about the Spanish Civil War but I wasn't sure if this was an unbiased report. It looks really good though...does anyone know about this book?

there are a couple new histories of the Lincoln Brigade and another about a female republican politistian who went into exile. but I can't remimber any titles. If you do please post them for our little liberating brother, who should remimber that libraries are the people bookshelf. go steal from a store.

Thomas' work is widely recognized as historic and accurate. Paul Preston's work are also well worth the red but I'd avoid the saccharine BS one usually finds accompanying works focused on the so-called international Brigades.
By contrast, Chomsky is not recognized as anything more than a shallow review and vehicle for his childish theories.
