How does income distribution system work in a socialist society? I looked up in the site and found that it is a lie that a janitor gets the same money as an engineerb in socialist system. How is it distributed or is it distributed as services işnstead of money? Your knowledge will illuminate me...

It may be possible that no means of exchange need exist as such, and people could simply use the goods and services that they need, independent of any kind of restrictions of financial barriers - except perhaps the social exclusion one would meet if one took without regard for the needs of others. This would be a gift economy and would exist at the highest stage of socialist development.

Alternatively, as you suggest, money would not exist but in its place there could be a rationing system of sorts to distribute goods and services - this is obviously distinct from a gift economy because a system of rationing requires, by definition, the distribution of goods and services from a higher authority.

If money continued to exist, then I think we can be fairly sure that in any socialist society no income could be earned simply from the posession of property - private property would cease to exist.

As with a rewards system under a command-distribution mechanism, though, it is possible that people would be payed (money) in proportion to the difficulty of their job and/or hours worked - although I would oppose this.
