alright ive got another dumb question lol. :P

what exactly are the differences between liberatarian communism and anarcho-communism?

EDIT.
oh and i know this is random but is there any difference between the red anarchist A and the black one? or is it just different colors sometimes?

Well essentialy they are synonomous. It's just that an anarcho-communist is a specific type of libertarian communist.

libertarian communism and anarcho-communism are all synonyms. all of them believe essentially in a stateless nation with the ideals of "from each according to his ability to each according to his need." also known as red anarchism.

Often times, libertarian communists call themselves Marxist. But there is no real difference, except perhaps some minor theoretical differences.

:AO: and :A: are the same symbol. It really depends on what the person identifies with, an eco-anarchist might use a green one. An anarcho-communist a red, a random anarchist a black.

You will note my avatar is red, green and black, referencing environmentalism, as well as anarchism and the working class.

Really, colours depend on what the person wants to use.

alright ive read up on the subject a little more but im still confused what the differences between anarchism (in general) and anarcho-communism are. if anarcho-communism is like a mix between anarchism and communism then does it differ?

not much of difference other than that libertarian socialism/communism is the tree trunk and anarcho-communism is a branch of of it. red anarchists tend to be more working class oreintated, and marx and communism oreintated, while black anarchists tend to be more moral, eco, and communal. That's in my experience.

Anarchism as a whole is a super set of ideologies. It contains a lot of different ideologies that share a certain few things in common. They all want freedom from oppression and hierarchy, but differ in how they think this can be best achieved.

Anarcho-communism diverges from the tree trunk and talks more about community and about sharing the 'means of production' and having the community own the means of production.

Mutualism and individualism focus more on the workers owning their own tools and so on, and then trading with others.

http://www.revleft.com/index.php?showtopic=6421 and Anarchism for dummies are both good reads.

And I'm getting bored with this now. If you ask some more interesting questions (this is interesting, I just can't be fucked just now) I'll attempt to answer them.

What if this weren't a hypothetical question?
