Russia seems fast on its way to an incredibly powerful and incredibly violent class conflict.

Yeah, 36 men controlling a quarter of the wealth! I'm sure that's because they worked so bloody hard! Or maybe they were the vultures in the right place and time when the booty from USSR times was been given away.
The vast disparities in wealth along with the absolute power of the Kremlin is very worrying, but hopefully it will lead to some counter action by the russian left. Although I can't imagine this will happen for some time.

^^^ Boris Kagarlitsky dismissed the possibility of peaceful change, as have more than 70% of the population in an Angus survey (re. socialist revolution).

I didn't say it has to be peaceful. If it needs to be through violence then so be it.
I have no idea what the Ipsos survey is, do you have a link?

currently i see the russian society as the future for western europe and north america.
with the wideing gap in incomes and the privatisation of public property aswell as the slowly rotting away of the welfare state we will eventually devolve into a similar state as russia.
atleast that is my "optimistic" view of the future.
its clear that russia's current division of wealth cant be sustained for long.
and we should pay close attention to how this is going to be resolved (either by the state or by the working classes) as that would probably happen here aswell once we reach tha t misserable state.

"Many people in Russia believe implementing a socialist model in the country would only be possible through a revolution, according to a poll by the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center. 56 per cent of respondents think a passage to socialism would need more than forming a new political party with socialist views."

Seems to be just pro-western "democracy" protests than anything else with little or nothing to do with socialism, better than Russian "democracy" but we all know where it leads to.

How soon do you all see some serious class conflict/revolution going on in Russia?

depends on what the russian government is able to do to bridge the gigantic income gap.
or if they even want to do that.
if they let the situation get worse it could go fast perhaps within 10 years as the poor dont have a choice.
