I think it would be good to study capitalism, so to get a good basic knowledge of it. This could lead to knowing it inside out and to a better talent of critiquing. Also, it would be good for debates against capitalists, beat them at their own game.

I couldn't be the leader or anything, just an idea.

We could pick apart bits of Capital, but there have to be some other good analysis out there as well.

I've been meaning to take a look at some classic liberal economy stuff lately. Maybe Smith, Ricardo, Malthus, J.S. Mill, etc.

You can find some of their stuff on Marxists.org under the reference section.

Yeah and thanks.

I would like to study and discuss, in depth, the flaws and maybe even the good parts of capitalism. Maybe start with The Wealth of Nations, ect.

Smith, Ricardo, Keynes, ect.

Which is what Marx did in all of his works.

There are some decent threads in this forum about Capital. Read them and bring them back to life.

Reading the all the Capitalists work about the system requires time, patience and good understanding of Mathematics IMO which is not common with everyone.

Also if you want to specifically learn about flaws of economics, free markets etc. Search posts by ComradeRed. He is very good at explaining them.

If anyone would like, I could create a few pdf files of introductory lectures to calculus and bourgeois economics (disclaimer: it may take 2 to 3 months for me to finally get them all done and/or started).

If this sounds good, have a few guinea pigs PM me provided they know very minimal math (that way I can test my notes on them, and edit them accordingly) ;)
