Creation of Aztlan? - Do you believe Mexicans can re-conquer

Hom many of you believe chicanos (and or mexicans) will ever have the power to re-conquer aztlan; territory that was seized by Yanquis during the Mexican-American WAr?

I don't think Mexican can or will. Yes, it would be a great nationalistic victory, but that should've taken place in 1846. Now those states are filled with people of different nationalities and cultures and depend on the USA. I think México should improve its own economy and its peoples standard of living before it think of taking over lands lost to them over 150 years ago. (Which were filled with Native American tribes not associated with México and treated badly by Mexicans.) The only form of cessation is immigration, but that has created culture clashes. So, no, I don't think it should or will be returned to México. The USA would never allow it or the residents of that region.

I don't think it should be returned to mexico because mexico would only drain and corrupt the land. I do think it is possible for a cessestion but only a independent nation could be established. It can happen if immigrants keep crossing the border and a vast majority populates the southwest. I read about this on other sites. I don't think it will happen, but It can.
