Here is the entire video(+2 hours). 6000 people attended the gathering which intended to support the candidacy of Arlette Laguiller for the next presidential election in France. Although I am critical of Laguiller and Lutte Ouvriere's economism, I must say it was quite impressive.

I like Laguiller as well, and see many good ideas in the LO's orientation towards the workers. However, what would the major differences be between the LO and the LCR?

I mean, both are relatively large Trotskyist groups.

Personally in France I feel the problem is that the extreme gauche is divided in a detrimental way. Together, the PCF, LO and LCR (as well as the radicals in the Greens and Socialists) could draw on the support of millions of workers.

Perhaps another problem is that they are all too focussed on election work?

Though I might just get that vibe due to only really getting word of the Left in France during the Presidential campaigns.

Do you live in France yourself? Hopefully you can answer my questions anyway.
