The worlds he has fabricated run deep into our understanding of society and life. His combinations of letters and puncuation has formed titillating stories prompting readers to reconsider the universe in which we live. Indeed, such a remarkable writer will be missed.

he was a wonderful writer, but what was best about him was his ability to make cynicism so witty and entertaining.

That's sad to hear, a he was a great writer. I loved Breakfast of Champions, Welcome to the Monkey House, Slaughterhouse-5 and Mother Night among his many other greats.

He was my favourite author, and the closest thing to a god that I ever believed in. he made high school bearable, and inspired me to get into political satire. No other writer in the world had the same inpact on me, not even Robert Anton Wilson. and now he's dead.

Come on ya'll; don't be too upset. If there is anyone who is obliged to have death it is Vonnegut. He coveted it so.

true, it was probably a relief for him. he spent most of his life giving the finger to the world and he finally got to leave it.

I believe he did attempt to leave it a bit sooner... but it didn't "work out".

RIP Vonnegut.
Can't wait to get another copy of Slaughterhouse-5, as my first copy was stolen at the bus station before i finish it.

yea, but not because of his disreguard for the world. he was just extremely depressed (so many dead family members)
