The Tanneries Squat in Dijon (http://squat.net/tanneries/) is under threat from the French State. The Mayor of Dijon has covertly been bargaining a deal with a large private health company, partly owned by Vivendi, to hand over the land on which the squat is built to this company. They plan to build a large private health clinic, right in the center of town and not far from the existing hospital. This poses a threat to the public health system and the future of affordable medical care in France. This privatization and destruction of an autonomous area are just two symptoms of a world wide illness called capitalism. It cannot tolerate that areas of independent resitance can exist right in its midst. We saw in Denmark that they (the State, the Capitalists and all the others) were prepared to resort to extreme violence in order to dislodge the resistors.
It is not the future of one squat in France at stake here. Nor is it just the future of all squats in Europe and throughout the world. It is the future of freedom that is at stake.
This is why i ask for everyone to organize actions of solidarity. FInd your nearest French Embassy (http://www.mfe.org/annuaires/repdipet.asp) and go there. Hold rallies, demonstrations, sit-ins, forums, until your voice is heard. Contact your local squat, anarchist collective, communist party or autonomous group and get them to show their solidarity. You will certainly be met with repression. You will probably be met with violence. But let your voice ring out loud and clear when you cry : "Ya basta! Enough of this bullshit!"

So post your call-outs, protests and so on here. I think this is a very important issue. They beat us in Coppenhaggen. Do not let them beat us in Dijon, or anywhere else.
