I'm not the typical "radical" leftist. My career path is finance of all places (with a good deal of other business courses in the program, to be sure). Recently, I even visited an anarchist website (http://www.geocities.com/cordobakaf/solidarity_lenin.html) and got some rather interesting Lenin quotes regarding the international corporate environment.

Ideologically speaking, I used to be a Trotskyist, then I swung around to the "Stalinist" end of things (with the added bonus of being a "Stalin kiddie" :D ). Since the swings, I visited http://home.flash.net/~comvoice/ to ask myself whether or not there were others like myself who were "Leninists" per se that didn't subscribe to either schools of thought.

While Trotskyism has the potential to de-generate into neo-conservatism (not yet done elsewhere, but prominent American Trotskyists were the founders of that ideology), Stalinism has the potential to de-generate into "Tory" conservatism.

Anyhow, off I go!
