Today in my Economics class we were shown the movie titled "The Wave" in which a history teacher tries an experiement on his class after a student asked him why Non-Nazi Germans did not try and stop the murdering of jews. The teacher tries to teach them by conducting this experiment by kind of molding them into a "Third Riech" kinda group. Supposibly it was based on a true story...but it seems kind of over the top, at least in the movie. Has anyone seen this movie? What are your thoughts? Its like an old 1981 afterschool hourlong special. Heres a wikipedia link :D Wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Third_Wave)

I heard someone did some research to disprove part of the false facts about the project in the media (that is, the movie and the book).
So...some parts of the book and prossibly the movie are false. (and maybe even what the teacher said about the project.)
Reason why I wanted to look for criticisms was; the book acts like by showing some people in a classroom some "propaganda" people would turn into disciplined "nazis" with no resistence. The criticism raised in the site I found showed that I was right in doubting it.
