Not sure exactly where to put this, but it's a rather heated debate between Bill O'Reilly and his guest Geraldo who is usually in agreement with Oreilly.

I think it shows the lengths to which conservatives will go to bash illegals.

"You want Anarchy!"
screams Bill O'Reilly.
I ask, befuddled, "so?"

"exposes" his bigotry? He doesn't need to to do that, he has it out on show all the time.

Jesus Fucking Christ!!!
Bill O'Reilly calls himself a journalist? If he was a British and behaved like that on here he'd be out on his ear.

Right, O'Reilly is well-known for his bigotry and his ability to exaggerate everything. Nothing surprising here.
Bill O'Reilly calls himself a journalist?
Yeah, but he doesn't consider Rush Limbaugh to be one though.

As far as immigration goes yes. I believe that Geraldo comes from an immigrant family.
As for this incident, I'm sure that it was good for the ratings but had little practical help in terms of shedding more light on the issue.

how can you be "illigal" a country that was build on immigrations, folowing massacres of the native inhabitents, and to top of all of this, slave driving?

O'Reilly:
I'm looking at this from the way things are not "should" be, so take note.
Firstly, the guy says that he's not a journalist, but an analyst. So, doesn't have to maintain an objective stance on topics.
Secondly, the US has laws regarding the numbers of people from which countries it allows into the US. So, this year it might be a 1,000 from England and 200 from Brazil.
For whatever reason, Hispanic Americans in the media seem to ignore, or simply do not know, about the hows and whys behind immigration laws. There's a kind of "as long as I'm not hurting anyone, it's legal for me to be here," kind of mentality, which is nice, but illegal.
If laws exist and aren't enforced, then they're either invalid laws or ones that if not understood will create chaos if violated. Many believe that if these laws aren't enforced then the hypothetical line between the US and Mexico will be blurred to the point of making the US not matter. Plus, due to the elite in Mexico, their country is basically third world in nature, and the US doesn't want to have a giant new population of that nature.
You don't have to agree with O'Reily, but it's good to understand people like him.

Us latinos know exactly why there are immigration laws. But if you are starving or you are living in a house that only has two walls and a sheet of metal for a roof laws really don't mean shit. O'Reilly is pretty fucking funny. His people were stow aways on ships. He is Irish. He is a perfect example of how the Irish became White.

Yes, but there are people all over the world that are doing worse that Latins. If everyone of them enters the US, then the US world be like the third world. That's a real problem. A small population means a better standard of living in the west.
Meanwhile, Latins ought to consider doing something "revolutionary" in their own countries, because from what I know there's a core of very rich people in most of them.

lol,aww man i usually don't watch anything that has to do with Bill O'Rilley couse it's allways same thing, the man is a purely ignorant and racist. The best part of the holl debate was when Geraldo said,if the mans last name was raminsky then it wouldn't be such a big deal, and since the dudes name was ramos then it's another story..and lol i saw this one video where he says we don't make personal atacks on the show, and they show videos where he does nothing but personal atacks...tss,the show is a joke,in general the fox network is a joke.still Geraldo did ok,
