how do you make an image high contrast (a la Che) on imagescape? whenever i try, it opens up a DOS window for a 1 second and does nothing to the actual pic.
Lonebullet meant Inkscape.
First off you open your image in Inkscape. Click on it to select it. Then you go to Path>Trace Bitmap. this should open a new window called "Trace Bitmap". In this window you will select what kind of trace you want. If you want something Che-like from a black and with picture select Brightness cutoff. Play around with the Threshold until you are happy. DOnt forget to update the preview to save time on trial and error. If you are working from a colour image select colour Quantization. Select how many colours you want included in the scan and press OK. Inkscape will then spend some time working. YOu should end up with a smooth vector. Move it off your original to check it out. the beauty of vectors is you can make them as big as you want without any pixelisation(sp?). You can play around with thte paths by using the "Edit Path nodes" function (the little arrow with the blue thingies on the left of the main window or F2).
I hope this helps.
