BUONGIORNO PRINCIPESSA! If you have seen this film (and liked it, i'm not interested if you didn't) please leave a comment. If you haven't, go and watch it and then leave a comment.
Roberto Benigni's film, having seen it many times, has the same effect every time i do watch it. The laughs are somewhat louder than they normally would be, given the relief it brings from the upsetting topic. The tears are the most heartfelt tears i have ever known. This film is the funniest, saddest, most beautiful film i have ever seen. The film always makes me so angry every time I see it, and nothing inspires me more, in the literary realm, to fight against Fascism. It gives me enough justification to say that, regardless of whether it is totalitarian or not, Fascist parties should not be allowed, fascists not a forum to speak, and fascism not room to breathe. Thanks for reading my rant :P .
P.S. The title is taken from Leon Trotsky's memoirs in exile so from where i'm concerned its all good :D
