Drink LOTS of water for the headache and just rest... Sorry, no miracle cures... Some paracetamol might help.

Also I like a big greasy breakfast, but if you're feeling queasy maybe that's not the thing.

Thanks Mujer. I am drinking a lot.

Pity about the lack of miracle cure though.

Eat lots of vitamin B 12 or 6 (read the Wikipedia articles) before and after a heavy night of drinking. Vegemite (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vegemite) or other yeast extracts have lots of B12.

Drink lots of water, before, during and after a heavy night of drinking.

Apparently glucose can help prevent hangovers, though it can't cure them.

See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hangovers for more information.

This thread http://www.revleft.com/index.php?showtopic=62082&hl=hangover has some info, though I swear there was another thread about somewhere ..

Glucse helps you rehydrate, which is good obviously.

Also try to avoid dark spirits and red wine. They contain more impurities that make hangovers worse.

I always eat eggs with bacon and drink a lot of water or orange juice

the best thing is gatorade, if you drink too much water you'll flush out your electrolytes. I had the worst hangover last week. my gf's mom wanted to give me an IV drip to rehydrate me (she's a paramedic). :D

Stand on your head and lean up against the wall. Put your right index finger on your nose and breathe slowly and deeply for 3-4 minutes. Then get back on your feet and run/jog for about 5 minutes outside. Repeat until your hangover goes away.

So, add some sugar and salt to the water to replace them.

Once a god (eXacto) said : thy , who can drink in the evening, thy should drink in the morning too. Or rephrased , just get some more beer , it really helps but afterwards you have a hangover hangover , a double one , an those are really painful

Drink some water or gatorade for hydration. Take some advil if you can stomach it. Eat something as soon as you can handle it as well, and make it something greasy.

Or, you could, ya know, not drink at all, or at least not to the point of getting hangovers?

Stands to reason that if one isn't pleased with the deleterious outcome of a certian action, that one would then logically want to avoid indulging in the action in the first place...

but sometimes its not so much that you wanted to drink so much, you just keep finding full beer cans in your hands...

hair of the dog, OR a nice fat joint. I find a reefer in the morning makes me feel a bit muggy and low but it nicely masks the effects of heavy drinking until they're passed. Alternatively you can totally bypass the whole hangover thing next time- don't go to sleep. When you've been drinking all night, stay awake until you begin to sober up. Adrenaline will kick in after a while and you won't feel tired. Only go to sleep once you're totally sober. OR slow down your drinking that evening gradually, don't just stop drinking completely. For example if you're in a club that closes at, say, three, build up to your drinking till about twelve (assuming you started at ten), when you might be on four pints an hour, and then slow it down. If you're still on four pints an hour before you leave, baby your head is goin to THROB!

I don't know about any cures, but the best prevention method I have found is just for evry couple beers you have, have a glass of water. I always drink lots of water when I drinking (not mixing of course) and I never ever get hangovers. Not even when chugging straight vodka.
