Erm like the web addy! How can history be authentic unless it's a source. It could be authentic history in the sense that it's a source of religious objection to communism, but it's not a primary source of anything.

The giant red octopus with the hammer and sickle on its forehead is excellent! Also the image of Trotsky being killed by Ramon Mercader who is wearing a sombrero and a poncho..classic.....

Oddly enough some of this comic is correct in what communist theory says it just takes it sooo out of context and twists it so much you' think communists were some insane invading alien race.


I like the intro given by John Edgar Hoover....saying that one should know and study communism as much as possible to realize its lies...ha! If someone actually did they would realize what INSANE nonsense the whole comic was about and quite likely change their views.

I wonder if we shouldn't distribute these comics as "anti-communist propaganda" because people will want to study what people warn them is "bad." We should go around in suits and ties telling people they should report everyone who is a communist to the police and hand them these comics as an "educational tool." Then they will want to find everything there is about communism. Pretty cynical, scatterbrained idea.

I look at it this way. It had enough truth to turn people off therefore it was effective and still would be effective today. The protrayal is that communist will enforce their will on anyone, destroy their culture, social norms, remove their religion, and betray those who are faithful followers of communism. All I see here is ridicule.
