I know that he is getting "famous" now, but you can't deny this guys talent.
It shows what you can do with a stencil.

His stuff is quite incredible, simply aesthetically. However, most of the things/art he does are political, which is a plus.

I think bred bros has a link in his sig about this thing he did in disney world. It was a replica of a man in an orang suit that he put up by some roller coster.

Yeah, he set up an inflatable replica of an Guantanimo-Bay inmate with a black bag on their head. I think it only lasted about 15 minutes or so before the disney-world staff realized what it was and that it wasn't supposed to be there.

He has done all sorts of stuff like that. He has installed a bunch of painintings in famous galleries (without permission.) and they are all spoofs of famous masterpeices.

Like this:

And then there was his famous prank on Paris Hilton (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-Cz6H9YjFI)

i highly recomend his paris hilton album. If your into repetitive electronica. Which i am.

Banksy is probably one of the greatest artists operating today. though his shift into the tame galleries did disappoint me a little. Still on the bleeding edge of art though.

sorry to revive this thread...but iv just purchased wall and piece.

fantastic pics of his work.

and funny passages of text. He was in palestine and his giude says
"draw there, the guards dont arive till winter"

on returning to the car after 25 minutes painting
banksy: "why are you laughing"
guide: "of course there are guards in the towers...they have snipers and walkie talkies!!!"

Palestine again

Old man: You paint the wall, make it look beautiful"
Bnksy: Thanks
O.M "We dont want it to be beautiful, we hate this wall, go home"

I like his zoo stuff aswell
