I know at my job we have something called a VOID.
When you fuck up on a meal or something but you have already cashed it, you VOID it and the money is deducted or put back into the till so you can redo it, or cancel it.
Like if someone buys something and you accidentially ring it in for more then it is worth, VOID it and that amout of whatever was over is deducted from the till.
We also do this if someone forgets their money or wallet or something, if I dont think they could use a break, I void it and it is deducted from the till.
NOW:
I know that Walmart, BK and I am sure Mcdonalds does this, This is pretty much how to steal from the till and no one will know.
ring in something worth 5-10 dollars.. dont go over.. honestly it is rediculous to beleive someone bought 200 dollars worth of food but it is on your head... Ring it in and cash it. Then.. Print the reciept and void. Voila.
HOW THIS WORKS:
If an order is 5.50. You cash it and the register automaticly thinks the customer gave you exact change for that order. which is why employers get on your ass if you cash something and dont void it.... because there would be 5.50 missing from the till.
By voiding it you take that 5.50 out of the till again. And they can record it and see that the till is balenced.
Well do that... but... Take the money. I work graveyards so it is fairly easy to pocket the money. Just make sure the cameras dont see.
Exploited VOIDS, friends... are one of the few perks of working at a fast food place. lol.
MORE TIPS FOR FAST FOOD WORKERS:
When someone comes in and orders somethng huge, a really long order. put an extra few bucks or so on his/her bill.. They wont know because their order is so huge and you get the money :D
I usually add like... 2 dollars per large order... Using these techniques I make 15 bucks in "taken gratuity" every night.
Because thats what it is.... A mandatory gratuity for working our asses off to collect your huge order. lol.
