View Full Version : Currency as a means of unity

I'm working on an article about Centralised Currency as a means of National and International Unity.

I have gotten most of my main writing down, but I have a few questions that I wanted some 3rd party opinions on:

Would a global or even regional currency i.e. the Euro, make it easier for capitalism to strengthen its hold on the global economy?

Would larger country size make it more difficult for the government to keep hold of its population?

Am I correct in saying that true Communism can only exist when all national borders and governents have been dissolved?

---

I may have a few more questions... I'll post them here if I do.

Thanks for all who answer, I'll post the article in the Article forum when it is complete, probably in about a week.

Communism can only exist after all states are dissolved.

Communism should not operate on monetary currency. I believe the Energy Accounting system of Technocracy would be a suitable replacement for money.

Communism CAN not operate on a monetary system. I am simply trying to determine if capitalism can be used as a weapon against itself.

My most important question was whether or not a centralised currency would bring us closer to capitalizm.

Also, could you explain your opinion on Technocracy?
