Hello,

I'm confused about Slobodan Milosevic. He claimed to be a Marxist, why would he be commiting genocide? That's not exactly a communist activity. Also, he vigorously denies that he actually did this (there's a website that defends him). Did he really do it? I confess I don't know much about the man.

He wasn't a Marxist. He led the Serbian Socialist Party, but led it away from any kind of meaningful Socialism. He was one of the strongmen who emerged in the former Yugoslavia interested in personal gain and basing their policies around race and nationality.

He wasn't, he was a nationalist and believed in the right of Serbian people to stay as part of Yugoslavia even if their nations had seceded.

Considering the charges and sentence that he was facing, who wouldn't?

The evidence is there to suggest that he did.
