Taxation in Socialism

How does taxation work in socialism? Money is needed for education, medical aid, and all that.

you tax people based on how much the government needs and by how much people make.

obviously if someone makes 42,000 a year you wont tax them on a scale that takes away 41,000

In most socialist countries, it does work on a sliding scale. That is of course for the privately owned businesses. If an employee earns 20 pesos and another employee earns 10 pesos, the employee who earns 20 pesos will be taxed more than the employee who earns 10. I also believe that some socialist countries take 50% of your pay for taxes. I think Norway would be an example of one of these countries. N

No but seriously folks.The State will take what i earn to fund whatever projects they see fit to.And if i don't like it, they'll throw me in the nick (whichi have incidently helped to pay for).
Thats strong arm robbery.
It's fucking criminal.
And don't give me any crap about the Welfare state.If we are helping out each other with tax, then how come the NHS is a pile of shite where it's mostly needed and unemployment/child/disability benifits are so shite?
Because our money is being pissed up the wall in Welfare To The Rich and the military industrial complex.
In a Socialist State what would be the diffrence? Well you wouldn;t have Corporate Welfare in the same way.The State would control industry so it would simply bail out it's own intrests.Other than that our money would be squandered in the same way.

I would though, be happy to dontate to help out people without coercion.
I would happy to pay to help people out if i knew it would help them and not be spent on Men With Guns and The State.

Taxation is neede only in the very earliest stages of socialism. I'm too lazy too explain this right now

I would say... in a socialist state, higher taxes for all. In a communist state, no taxes.
