So...Lenin established the USSR, right? Then was he in power for an amount of time?...or was Stalin ruling as soon as it was established?

The USSR was established in 1921, four years after the glorious october revolution. Lenin stayed in power until 1924, when after controversy and uncertainty, Joseph Stalin seized power in 1927 I believe.

stalin was in joint power with someone ( i forget who) till1929, then he rose to absolute power. lenin was the leader from 1917 till his death in 24

Actually Nateddi it was called the USSR in December of 1922.
