Should I learn to play the trumpet? I was inspired by Miles' Porgy An' Bess (esp. Summertime), and some jazz was listning to today, so I'm thinking of learning.

Yea definitely. Trumpet is not all that hard to learn and is very rewarding. I remember in my elementary school days I learned, it was very fun, but if I could have choosed, I wish I could have chosen guitar because there is much more opprotunity there. That is, more opprotunity with playing a different array of songs.

Deffinatly go for it, it is an awesome instrument and is more versatile then many people realise...i play trumpet in a rock band, well a rock, funk, jazz band lol

The trumpet is fun to play, thats what I played in high school but I haven't really touched it since then, :( I have no idea where you would get lessons from. Might just have to get a book and teach yourself.
