During the Revolution the Bourgeois were in the same estate as the peasants and most were middle class, so when did they start being considered upper class?

French revolution was peculiar because the bourgeoisie for the first time rose against the feudal syatem politically. Its victory was achieved because of its alliance with budding working class.

so when did they start being considered upper class?

Immediately aftrewards I think. The Jacobins were actually petty bourgeoisie radicals who took the revolution to its limits to Horror of the bourgeoisie. That is why they are blamed and executed for its excesses. When Napoleon crowned himself as emperor in 18th Brumaire the bourgeoisie were too cowardly to do anything to stop him due to the fear of Jacobins rising again.

After the nobility and Church's influence and power had been significantly reduced. It was one of the main goals of any bourgeois revolution.

no doubt there were "upper class" bourgeoisie prior to the french revolution. It would make more sense, in my opinion, to view it in terms of "ruling class." There power was consolidated during the rule of Napoleon I after many tumultuous years of power exchanges within the "Third Estate."
