A New Activist-Literature Idea

I just came up with a new idea. Most flyers and stuff that Revolutionaries give out is usually in support of the revolution and socialism correct? Well, basing off the fact that normal people get flipped off when they are being "lectured" at or become disgusted at a idea they see as being inhumane after reading it, why don't instead people distribute almost-satirical literature.

My theory for this would be to distribute anti-communist literature written by revolutionaries that sounds so hateful and disgusting, and making communists sound noble and the capitalist opposing them, thus making them decadent.

A Flyer idea im toying around right now is based slightly off a old propaganda flyer the US Gov. had in the 50's under McCarthy, sortof "How to Find a Communist". It would be similar in stating that communists must be caught, but instead for the criteria it would state noble communist views, and then perhaps the flyer could advocate slaughtering them or such, to make people disgusted with such blatent anti-humane views, and thus gain a almost subconscious sympathetic feeling towards socialism.


It's just a idea, please comment :).

Hmmm... Interesting idea.. Almost satirical: "Why, these Communists want equality for all! This of course is a ridiculous idea, and us capitalists will do everything to stop them and make sure people live in poverty."

Could work, but would have to be really well made, just in case people actually do become anti-Communist after reading it!

Yep, it would have to be really good writing, because if its not then it could either:

1.) Make people anti-communist
2.) If its too obvious its satirical then people won't take it seriously or read it.

I have a draft of one stating like "WANTED: COMMMUNISTS" And then a list of things communist are/believe, still in progress.

Not really, most flyers are about actual problems, such as asylum seekers being locked away, ID-cards, housing problems, police brutality, anti-war, ...

That's true. I've never seen flyers about communism, I've only seen flyers of communists or anarchists about local problems.

Really nice! A little criticism though... it's a bit long for a flyer. Maybe an article but as a flyer I think it should be shortened a tad. Also, point 10 states "He demands an end to all ... death.". I think maybe death should be taken out. Maybe replace it with killing, war, murder, or something else besides death which is a natural event that can't be ended.

He demands that the business executives give control of their wealth and factories to their workers who work at them all day, instead of CEO’s that have no use for or to the factory except leeching off money.

Should this be:

‘He demands that the working class TAKE control?’ You will appreciate that this is a big difference.

Also, it doesn’t matter how “long “ it is. It will have to be as long as it needs to be. Content is more important than ‘form’ or ’appearance.’ The working class needs the truth in any form.

I'll try to edit it a bit more to make it perhaps shorter (Because people don't read things that are very long usually), and change the content slightly too perhaps. Thanks for your suggestions ^_^
