Does anyone know of any good books on the INLA and their history, (preferably ones that I can buy online)? I already have plenty of books on the PIRA, and I've been wanting to learn more about the INLA. Thanks in advance.

I read one a few years ago which I think was called "INLA: Deadly Divisions".

A lot. There are four different IRAs (Official, Provisional, Continuity, and Real) and numerous other groups such as the INLA.

Yeah, it is. None of the IRAs are active any more. I was just listing all the splits that have occurred.

This is not true. RIRA and CIRA are active although not to the degree that they would like. RIRA were responsible for £25 million of damage in the last few months of 2006, as a result of firebombs on multinational companies in Belfast and Newry.

Also on the same night in Newry they blew up the railway line, and left a second booby trapped bomb for the British security forces, which was however found and defused. The same week they tried to blow up the house of British Lord and industrialist Lord Ballyedmond in north Louth.

The CIRA are getting the blame for the two murders in Belfast last weekend, although they themselves have made no claim. This might not be much in comparision to what it was like years ago, but it is still wrong to claim that they are inactive.

There has also been many other less significant attacks in the past year.
