What do people think about the Census? Obviously, we won't have these after the revolution, but I was wondering if people thought they were useful in anyway. Personally, as someone who researches his family history and the social history that affected them, I find old censuses very useful.

The census is useful for sociologica; studies, which is my minor, so I use it as a resource quite often. It can tell you a lot about a certain area and about the uS as a whole. I find it to be a valuable resource, although it also is used by corporations for financial benefit also.

Obviously?

If you admit they are useful why couldn't they be kept?

They could be, but they wouldn't be national as we won't have nations.

Statistics are necessary for sociological, economical, and political reasons so there's no reason to abolish them in a post-revolutionary society.
