These twats I know want to set up a party based on no immigration, anti-semitism and giving ALL public sectors such as the NHS and education to private companies. They wont get much support as theyr going to use an edited version of mein kampf as their manifesto. My friend and I are gonna attend every meeting and oppose everything they say - they said its open to anyone so we'll go to show them up. We're also gonna stick a huge "non pasaren" banner across the back of the room before every meeting?
Do any of you guys and girls have similar things at your college/school/uni or work?

my uni (and the rest of the NUS i think) has a no platform for fascists policy, so no. not many fascists here anyway, and any around would definitely not have a nice time.

I go to a private school because in Germany your not allowed to go to a german school if one of your parents work as a civilian in the american armed forces -.-
So in my lovely school, they are a large amount of rich German kids
Some are Neos, others are just incredibly right- Like the one guy in my class is a "imperalist" with Nazi viewpoints.
The dont "belong" to a pat. group... But you get continual anti semitism,no immigration, anti-left, ect remarks .
Im just gald they aren't in a group ^^

thanks for the support! any tips on that? i love public speaking and stuff but i dont wanna overestimate the support i'd get from that. I've often said most people are conservative where I live but students will always have the capacity to become radical, if i can get them to cast off the chains of indoctrination their capitalist parents secured round them, then i may be in with a chance. Reckon its worth trying to pull together a meeting of people who might be swayed to the left with reasoned arguement?

converting a conservative to the left would be grand! One less for them, one more for you, so YES

We have a group of extreme-right wing students active at our university. They have 15 members, occasionally draw some nazi signs or post stickers that come off in one pull. Everyone thinks they're twats, once a year however, they organise a nationwide demonstration, every year the counterprotesters are more in number and usually it ends in riots.

We have somewhat right wing religious groups (Particularly the Catholics who invited Michael Coren to speak here), but their numbers have allways been small. The left is quite dominant at my university, only beaten in numbers by the apathetic.
