Thread for posting online media and/or original home-made stuff...

"Uncle Remus" (FZ)

"Titties and Beer" (FZ)

http://www.badongo.com/file/2282681

----------------

http://www.badongo.com/vid/308614

This is funny. Or at least I hope you think it is. I played a beat over a "latin" style chord progression that I wrote on a Roland synth.

I call it "The Price Is Not Right," and the picture theme is a parody of game shows.

----------------

http://www.badongo.com/file/2395580

Acoustic guitar tapping. I call it "The Same River Twice," because I took the same track and looped it over the first, producing a polyrhythm.

----------------

http://www.badongo.com/file/2395498

This is a practice session. I played drums over King Crimson's "Lark's Tongues In Aspic, Part 2." I edited out my major fuck-ups because they are embarrasing. At the end, I play a steady beat, but in the original Bruford plays a choppy beat. If you've heard the original, you'll notice the difference.

A song of war, destruction, and resolution. It represents a battle between the snake and the bird.

----------------

http://www.badongo.com/file/2395557

Same as above, this time over Rush's "La Villa Strangiato."

----------------

http://www.badongo.com/file/2386890

Two short original acoustic improvs. The first part is in an open C. The second part is fret-tapping, like the above video.

Just songs...no video, but I still use Badongo for music only.

----------------

http://www.badongo.com/vid/307873

A video of me messing around on acoustic guitar.

I know the rules say not to post a picture of yourself, and I put some video effects on my image so the Nazis won't find me and kill me.

[laughing]

p.s. please don't make any smart-ass comment about the cigarette. I was not trying to look cool.

----------------

http://www.badongo.com/vid/307826

A song by Zappa called "Tinsel Town Rebellion."

I pasted collected pictures over the music and made a video. The song is a parody of the music industry.

----------------

http://www.badongo.com/vid/307830

Song by Zappa called "Turning Again."

Same as above-- pasted pictures over the music (only a portion....not the whole song). This song is a parody of "Hippies."

----------------

http://www.badongo.com/vid/307837

Song by Zappa called "Dumb All Over."

Same as above-- picture video. This song is a parody of religion.

----------------

http://www.badongo.com/vid/307843

Song by Zappa called "I'm a Beautiful Guy."

Same as above-- picture video. The song is a parody of "consumer arrogance" and "dating games."

----------------

http://www.badongo.com/vid/307854

Song continues from the one above. Called "Beauty Knows No Pain."

----------------

http://www.badongo.com/vid/307857

Song by Zappa called "Mudd Club." Same as above-- picture video. This song is a parody of clubs, bars, and social mediums of the sort.

----------------

http://www.badongo.com/vid/307865

Song by Zappa called "Theme From Run Home Slow."

The picture theme is communist.

Note: you may notice during the download that the title is different than the original title. Sometimes I name the video something other than the song title, so I can recognize it in my documents. The real title I will post here on the board.

----------------

What you've all been waiting for. The Frank Zappa picture video.

p.s. give me a break. All I have is the Windows Movie Maker so I can't make extremely cool videos. Only still pictures.

----------------

http://www.badongo.com/vid/308701

"Project Object" performing "Pound For A Brown" by Zappa.

Just a small clip from a show I recorded two years ago. The drummer was sixteen, if I remember correctly. The only original member in the band is Ike Willis, who played with Zappa throughout the eighties.

I'm assuming you have no idea how to edit posts?

Just click on the little button "EDIT" in any post you've made. there's no reason to make so many posts in a row.

1. You know I know how to edit a post because you can clearly see at the bottom of a few posts that they have been edited.

2. Don't talk to me like a fucking three year old, buddy.

3. If you wish to say "your music sucks so don't post it," say it, don't beat around the fucking bush.

4. There are SEVERAL threads all over this site with the same content. If saving space was an issue, you would have cleaned up those extraneous threads.

5. I made many posts because I was uploading the material as I went. I didn't have it all ready to post at once.

Then why didn't you edit all of the links into one post?

2. Don't talk to me like a fucking three year old, buddy.
I wasn't, I kindly explained something.

3. If you wish to say "your music sucks so don't post it," say it, don't beat around the fucking bush.
I haven't listened to the music, so I'm not going to comment on it. If I had listened to it and I thought it sucked, I would've said so (in a kind way). However I wouldn't say "don't post it", as my opinion is just an opinion, and other people might like your music.

4. There are SEVERAL threads all over this site with the same content. If saving space was an issue, you would have cleaned up those extraneous threads.
I would have, if I had the power. I'm only a local mod, meaning I can only moderate topics within my assigned forum. And in that forum, I do clean up "extraneous threads".

5. I made many posts because I was uploading the material as I went. I didn't have it all ready to post at once.
So, once again, why didn't you edit them all into one post? It's as difficult as making a new post.

That should be enough commenting on such a minor issue..
