I went to the propagandhi show on friday night! Man they are such an aweosme band just wondering who else on the forum likes them too.

I really like them but I haven't heard many songs. I only have a few I got for free from their myspace page. Do they have a specific political alignment?

I've only heard their latest (?) Potemkin City Limits and it's not bad at all.

I have "Less Talk, More Rock". It's wel good. They're the only leftist band to actually mention overthrowing capitalism literally in a song that I've heard. Other bands do it more (sorta) subtly, but they have a huge (A) on the CD, and the booklet has a list of leftist journals and the different ways that capitalism oppresses people.
The best song is "And You Thought Nation-States were a Bad Idea", but "Anchorless" is pretty cool too. ;)

Go listen to The Suicide Machines album called "War Profiteering is Killing Us All". I think it is pretty good if you can understand what the singer is saying.

i think propagandhi are amazing. in fact, im wearing a propagandhi shirt right now!

one of my favourite lyrics of there's is "i'll call you on your shit, please call me on mine, and we can grow together and make this shithole planet better.." as it really shows the importance of criticism and self reflection of our actions and ideas, especially in any revolutionary movements.
