I was curious with the growing displeasure in the United States about war and imperialist on sought of other nations and not to mention bullying Iran, and Korea do you think revolution in the next 10 years is possible? And how do you think we could mobilize and throw an onslaught and finally get the US free.

I think the American two party system will be a great feat to over come, do you think socialism can really appeal to the masses? Or are they to deep in it to realize the ill effects thanks to the America Propaganda machine?

America was subjugated a long time ago. Sure there's displeasure but they've been conditioned into opposing leftism.

Besides, the people with all the guns are Right-Libertarians.

I think revolution in the US is possible and essential. That said, I do not think a revolution will happen in ten years. I am quite certain socialist revolution will happen in one or more of the more backward countries within ten years.

I agree, this is the main thing that will prevent the United States from being the first advanced nation to have a socialist revolution. The working class has no independent politial expression in this country. Whenever there is discontent, the workers flock to the democratic party. In this way, the capitalist class always has control over the working class.

What we need is a mass party of labor based on the trade unions in order for the working class to have an independent political expression. If socialists become active in such a party, we can establish a strong current within it. Then, when the American working class enters the class struggle and heads to their mass organizations, a revolutionary leadership will already be in place. Until these steps are taken, I fear that the American working class will be stuck with either the democratic party or a revolution with poor leadership.
