i know alot of you guys dont think charity makes much diffrence, but imagine if for some reason you all of a sudden have 100 million or so, what would yo do with it?
spreading it wouldnt go equal with the population, and i dont think anyone here would be a champange-sipping caviar-eater.

so if you win a large ammount of moolah, would you use it for charity?

It depends on the organization. The larger organizations take a cut of their donations in order to maintain their business and pay salaries,etc. which is why you need to be careful about that kind of stuff.

And you must also figure out what the money is being used for, sometimes donating expertise, effort, and time in order to build infrastructure and thus make an impact is a lot more important than simply dumping money down the charity drain.

Wow, so true... but I would have a hard time burning $100 million and then going back to my normal life, *****ing about how too many people don't have enough money to eat, have a roof over their head, buy their kids socks, etc.
