In light of the Qasarse government's attempts to implement Christo-chauvinist and racialist policies on the people of Fiji, I critically support the current military coup and the liberal and social-democratic factions of the bourgeoisie within the tourism and hospitality industries that are masterminding it (in that -- like Chavez's attempted coup in 1992 Venezuela -- the reasons behind the coup are more than justified but -- unlike the former coup (should it have succeeded) -- there is no evidence whatosever that the coup will be succeeded by a proletarian revolution) especially in light of the fact that Washington and her allies have sided with the deposed government.

This is a pretty good, but short, analysis: Another military coup in Fiji (http://freepeoplesmovement.org/fpm/page.php?234)

Regardless of how it was done, I don't see what's so bad about deposing a government whose primary aims included establishing a Christian theocracy and implementing racialist policies.

Fiji is pretty close to home, considering that I live in New Zealand. Our government tried to prevent the coup, by having talks between the Fijian government and its military in our country, but the talks back fired.

The military coup is a nusciance, there have been many reportings of people being beaten serverly and homes destroyed for speaking against the military.

Fiji is becoming a military dictatorship.
