They really do suck.

Dimmu Borgir is in the same vein, but they kick ass. I recommend, although, you've probably already heard them.

Dimmu Borgir are absolute pure unadulterated shite. I know it is all taste, etc, but they really do nothing for me, other than cause great annoyance. But they are still a hell of a lot better than Cradle of Filth.

I've seen CoF 3 times, I like their old stuff, but the new album is fucking crap. I met them a year ago though and talked to them for the best part of an hour at Manchester Academy, and they're awesome people to talk to, particularly Dave, Charles and Sarah.

I just saw Cradle of Filth a month ago at the Chicago House of Blues. They were touring with 3 Inches of Blood and The 69 Eyes.

No question of it. Cradle of Filth are poseury shite. Dimmu Borgir's 2nd album wasnt bad, the rest of their albums though are over-stylised judas priest rip off.

I met The 69 Eyes too, went to see them support someone in Manchester, cool fucking people, I had a pint with 3 of them in the student union :D And Jussi is damn fine. :wub:

yeah i'm not in love with them either. but i am addicted to temptation. i'm also thankful they got a halfway decent female vocalist. that one for their last album was just awful...worse than Dani himself

Though classic metal is pretty cool too... Dragon Force style, or Iron Maiden... Ozzy...

CoF? Demon Bugger? No thanks. I know this is a matter of taste, but commercial black metal = :wacko: I find it rather crappy. If you want actuall black metal, try Emperor, if you don't like it then black metal is definately not a genre for you.
