In the theory of Guevarist vanguardism, the revolutionaries must be educated in the political theory. What books does one need to have read in order to reach this standard? I'm just looking for a listof titles, not a debate on vanguardism or anything

if you see that a vanguard is the way to educate the mass of more passive workers. The question of eucation
is not dogmatic, the conditions of education are important, what are the issues that need brought out.
If the worker has questions and you wish to refer him to a particlar theorists thoughts, then you must as you suggest educate yourself. This is a life long work but
most of us begin with Marx and Engels and the ''Communist Manifesto".

I think that it's important to not to read only socialist bookb but also lots of capitalist, nazist... whatever stuff. Because it's important to know your enemy!
Not only political books but also other theories, philosophies which have changed the world. Read some old Chinese philosophy, Nietzsche's Homo Ecco... whatever you feel like!

yes, read the things that enemies were refering to, and u'll see thet they were just stupid bastards, and u'll be able to beat their thesis any time you wan't, for u'll give yourself a time to think about ideas and their "realisations" and "interpretations" made by sicks.
But best weapon u can have is substance that systematically reading of philosophy...it gives you substance & trains u to think in theese categories, learns u to think about the world using systems...but it takes a time to solve it all, so u must be commited to that.

Yep, I agree with Rosa, substance gives depth.
If U spread all Ur books on the floor at all sorts of angles, that = eclecticism
If U build upon one book U go into a subject deeply, and for philosophy the book U need at the bottom as Ur foundation is a selection of the writings of Marx and Engels.
If U have anything else, U have a poor foundation.
U start with the highest point, and U base your analysis of everything that comes next from Ur understanding of the highest point.
Everything else is subjective egoism.
Resistance is Futile!
