are there is only two option? i would say beethoven..though..but as it just two ..hm..i'd prefer Tchaikovsky

Beethoven is clearly superior in every way, but this is about Russian composers, not Russian and German ones.

Tchaikovsky, cuz the 1812 Overture alone would make him great, let alone the other amazing pieces he wrote.

Anyway, Tchaikovsky, by far. Slavonic March + 1812 Overture = pure phatness.
