The bourgeoisie uses some fancy and cozy sounding words so that their exploitations don't seem that harsh, or so they don't appear as brutal as they really are. for example..
FREE TRADE, it sounds nice and cool.. wow free? that must be good! I can't think of any more. but please add to the listen and provide THE REAL DEFINITION and what they try to make us think it means..
get it?

Freedom of the Press - Yay, now anyone can say whatever they want! Well, anyone that has the money to own a newspaper, anyway...
Globalization - Awesome... global stuff is always good. It helps connect different cultures, and... oh, hey, wait, a minute, global exploitation isn't so hot.

Basically "Free" anything sounds good. They also like to use very subjective words like "good" and "evil" and "wrong" or "right".

Equal opportunity=everyone has the same basic opportunities but due to socio-economic backgrounds, the rich can afford a much greater advantage.
Social mobility i.e. "Rags to Riches": A fairy tale.

What they call "freedom" and "democracy" are good examples.
The "freedom" of one group to exploit another, the "democracy" of a handful of would-be elites who were chosen in a questionable electoral process after a series of character attacks and hollow rhetoric in the months leading to it...

i'm fascinated at how the bourgeoise use the words premier and dictator
premeir - basically it means dictator who could be committing all kinds of attrocities, but because he supports capitalism and the U.S., we'll give him this nice little name. Example: Ngo Dinh Diem
dictator - evil person who does not support capitalism or u.s., but probably has support of the people. Examples: Lenin, Ho Chi Minh, Castro, etc.

Surplus value is a Marxist term but in simple terms, I suppose it can be defined as the profit that is stolen from the worker's labor.

Free-market= The freedom of the capitalist class to exploit the working class and destroy the environment.
Globalisation= The even greater freedom of the capitalist class to exploit the working class and destroy the environment anywhere they like. If a country doesn't have cheap labour, anti worker laws, lax environmental restrictions and huge tax breaks then its manufacturing will disappear to places that does. Capital knows no borders. Essentially globalisation= a global race to enflict the greatest damage and most human suffering.
Democracy= The farcical process by which the bourgeoise obtain legitimacy for running society in their interests.
Economic reality= The situation whereby, eventhough the producing class (proletariat) is producing wealth in greater quantities than ever, the eternally idle bourgeoise want a bigger share of the pie so we must have low wages, crumbling public services and pathetic pensions, whilst they live in sickening luxury. UK chancellor Gordon Brown loves that term.
