Well Sparkpluges are simple, all you do is take them out and put new ones in. For a starter first you got to disconnect the battery, then take out the mounting bolts and the two wires going into the starter, after that the starter will come right out, then bolt new starter in plug in the wires, reconnect the battery and your done. If your doing these car repairs for yourself only I wouldn't recomend doing you own brakes because first of all you need lots of tools, the average joe probably dont have, like a torqure wrench, torque bits, and a jack, and secondly you only need to replace your brakes once every like 100000 or more Km, so just take it to a garage is my advice on brakes.
