these threads are insane!
uhhhm, it does look vaguely nazi... the white circle on red generally has those kinda connotations... I'm not sure if anyone else would use it for those reasons...
Nazis generally try to make loads of variations of the swastika to get around bans of using them in Germany and such... someone more informed than me should probably comment

You probably have a bigger right-wing problem than almost anyone else in the U.S. I don't know about exact numbers, but the south is definitely the U.S. home of bigotry.

I guess it's another variant of the Swastika

yeah, but fort bragg is pretty fa away. though you could be right, it looks like it could be a military symbol of some sort.

Weird symbol, yeah.
Those of raccoon's examples which aren't obvious variatons on the manyfoot are bind runes - combinations of letters of the rune alphabet. Combinations like them are used in scandinavian folk charms. The one red october brought in is neither.
In case anyone wondered - to the upper left is the icons for Year and Need, letters Y/J and N, second line left Allot and Lake, letters O and L. I've only seen nazis use these specific combinations - maybe they're specific to germany?
I can't make a guess at the first one, but I think the latter could be read as "pure heritage" or "blessed nobility".
Oh, damn. Come to think of it - runes consist of long and short staves. Red's symbol could be a dissembled Year rune, as it has the right number of staves in approximately right positions. The attempt at deception is so silly it comes round the other side and actually gets hard to spot :)

Try Indiana. I think this state has the biggest Klan numbers in the US. The South has a lot of it, but for some reason this state is like this. It's mostly in the really rural areas though. This state sucks.
