This isn't the best website ever, but I thought it was pretty cool. Basically people set up an account and choose a party (you can only pick Democrat, Republican and Independent), then write a short biography and platform, and hope people vote for them.

Obviously, the fact that only bourgeois parties exist is no good, but the idea itself isn't so bad, I don't think. I haven't set up an account, though I was thinking of it (as Salvadore Allende).

The guy who just showed me the site is pretty cool. He linked me so I would vote for him (he's using a communist platform). There seems to be alot of right wing jerks there, and they're keeping his rating down low. Check it out http://www.u4prez.com/index.php?do=rate&act=profile&id=336

So yeah, vote him up, haha. And if you see Allende pop up, that's me, so vote for me too!

Someone made an account as Stalin, as an independent, and it was in the top three before; but I don't see it now.

cool. I voted the guy a 10, but it doesn't seem like he wants to abolish the state or capitalism entirely. Are there any real communists on there?

One guy on there had a pretty good program, talking about immediate removal of all American troops from foriegn countries, and immediate end to funding of foriegn countries, but as his program goes on, you see that he is in favour of annexing Canada, Mexico,Cuba and possibly other parts of the North American continent, allegedly in the interests of protecting the borders of America.

Sometimes talking politics with people can be quite stimulating, but I find a lot of times it is just frightening.
