When I first saw the movie last Spring, I thought of making a thread about it here but I had forgotten about it until now. So, has anyone seen the play and/or movie Rent? If you haven't I would highly recommend seeing it because, not only is the music really good, but the storyline itself is also great. I've seen the movie multiple times and am going to NYC this spring to see the play.

saw the musical with the original cast, (same cast as the movie except two characters, Mimi and Joanne).... and later saw the movie. Good show! it translated okay to film, but liked the musical lots!
